Where Art Meets Adornment
Get to know JamieLeigh; Owner and Creator of Threebeesjewellery
Imagine being gifted an experience of making your own stacking rings for your birthday? Now imagine that one decision changing your whole life!
Hi! It’s me! Jamieleigh!
“Call me crazy, but as soon as I held a torch in my hands, I thought it myself. Wow, this is the best feeling in the world and I never want to let this go. From that moment I knew I wanted to make jewelry that told a story.”
Discovering a love in jewellery making was a bit of an accident. “After taking the silversmithing course, covid hit. Being stuck at home with 3 young children and a husband in Houston, Tx, Jamie knew it was time to explore her passion. Jamie threw herself into watching jewelry making tutorials on YouTube, bought tools and started her small business within months of completing her first piece of Jewellery. Interesting Fact about Jamieleigh; she only uses high grade turquoise from her trusted vendors in Nevada, Arizona and Utah USA. Relationships built during covid while living in the states. Jamie also loves gemstones like moonstone, labradorite, amethyst, as you will see in her newer pieces from trusted vendors around the world.
“Jewellery is more than an accessory, it’s a feeling.” Founded on a passion for high-quality craftsmanship and one of a kind design, the blend of timeless beauty with a bohemian spirit flows through all of her one-of-a-kind jewellery. Some of Jamie’s favorites to create are unique silver hoops of all sizes and large boho earrings, as well as bangles and charm necklaces. In July 2021 the local art studio she took her first class, recognized her talent, and asked her to become their new silversmithing instructor. Jamieleigh went on to teach silversmithing for 2 years at the local art studio while helping create a creative community in their home time.
“The big opportunity”
Jamie and family were presented an opportunity to move to London. This was a no brainer for Jamie and her family to start their epic family adventure. Jamieleigh and her husband, Rory, immigrated their family, dog and 2 cats to England in February 2023. Jamieleigh talks about the challenges she’s faced when moving her family abroad, and often shares her story on life in the UK on her social media platforms. Jamieleigh is living and creating in her dream studio in a picturesque village south of London in Hampshire county. When she’s not creating jewellery, shes often walking her dog in nearby forests, enjoying being a taxi driver to her 3 children and showing us you truly can manifest whatever you want out of this life. All you have to do is believe you can, and you WILL!
